How does your media product represent particular social group?

Within my media product only 1 social group is represented. The actor in my project is a 10 year old boy. Therefor the social group represented is young boys. However as this project was to produce a opening scene to a thriller the character that the actor is playing is a sinister killer. This goes against what we associate young boys to be. Stereotypically a young boy is full of energy and very boisterous. However the character in my media project goes against all stereotypes. He is reserved and keeps to himself as well as being organised and well maintained. This representation shows another type of young boys who may not fit the stereotype. Most camera shots of the character are either looking down on the character or the camera is level with their face. This shows a vulnerability to the character as due to his age he is vulnerable to the world around him. His cloths are normal to what we would think a boy of his age would wear. This is to create a sense or normality.
