My story board is only small and does not include every idea
that I have had. However it does include the different camera shots that I will
be using. My first box in my story board is a picture of a man’s face. This man
has just woken up and the camera has a close up of their face as this happens. The
close up will allow the audience to fully see the main character.
The character then proceeds to go about their morning routine.
He will do such things as get a shower and eat his breakfast. The way that this
will be filmed will show the rigidness of the character as I will try to
portray then as edgy as possible in an attempt to create an uneasy atmosphere.
The character once completing their normal morning tasks
will then drag a bag across the shot. This will showcase the bag and I’ll give
the audience a chance to try and work out what is inside of the bag. This creates
suspense within the audience as they will be wondering what is going to happen
next.
The character will then proceed to go to the shed and take
out a rusty hand saw. This will be a close up so that the audience will be able
to see how rusty the weapon is. Blood will be on the saw which will suggest to
the audience that the main character has done whatever they are doing now
before.
Once this is done and the character is back inside they will
then rip open the bag to reveal the dead body that they have had hidden in the
bag. Again a close up on the dead body will take place. This will hopefully
disgust the audience as the body will be pale and very clearly dead looking.
The final moments of the movie will simply be the now known
killer to present the rusty hand saw once again and give off a sinister look. Once this has happened the screen will turn an instant black. The
scene will end here on a cliff hanger.
